When are farm birthday parties held? |
Parties are held Monday through Saturday year-round, weather permitting. Parties start at 10:00 am with the last party starting at 2 pm.
How long is a party? |
Depending on which package you pick, birthday parties are 2/3.5 hours long. You may arrive 30 minutes prior to the start of your time slot to set-up, and you will have 15 minutes after your time slot to clean up. Failure to clean up after your party will result in a $50 fee.
What is included in my party? |
Packages 1, 2 and 3 contain the activities listed. The food and rest area is under a covered area with more tables and chairs in a shaded area which has picnic tables, as well as trash and recycling receptacles. Each birthday party area has a hook above to hang a pinata.
What are the rules regarding swimming? |
Swimming is at your own risk. We do not provide a life guard. The pool is 4' deep. You may bring floats if you would like. We will have a limited number of life jackets, so it is advised you bring your own.
What about food? |
You may bring your own food for Packages 1 and 2. For package 3, please confirm the number in your party for food & cake by calling (972) 932-5156 at least a week before your party. Party planner will discuss with you food included in the package and also enhancements that can be added.
Can we barbecue? |
Yes! We have a gas grill. If you would like to prepare and cook food at the farm you may do so.
What about decorations? |
We understand that you have a special theme in mind for your party and you may bring tablecloths, tablecloth holders, balloons, party favors and eating utensils to mach your theme (package 1 and 2). Package 3 includes all of the above. TO protect our animals and the environment, we encourage you to clean up at the end of your party. Failure to properly clean the area will result in a $50.00 clean/up fee. Thank you for your cooperation.
Is there a dresscode for the party? |
Riders should wear sturdy "outdoor" shoes - no sandals, clogs, slip-ons, or plastic shoes. Athletic tennis shoes are fine. We recommend that non-riders also wear closed toed shoes. All riders must wear a helmet and we have helmets available.
Who will be there to greet me? |
One of our friendly party hosts will be on hand to greet you and your guests upon arrival. Package 3 includes a party host who will decorate the area before your arrival, and serve the food/cake.
What if it rains? |
We are an outdoor location and rain on the day of, or even the day before your party, can be a spoiler. If there is bad weather in the forecast, we will discuss this with you the week of your party. The amount of rain and when we get it will determine what activities will be open during your party. Horseback riding is offered only if arena conditions allow. If arena is too wet due to rain, a decision must be made 3 days prior to opt out of activities or receive a raincheck. Keep in mind that we do have a covered area for food and/or cake.
What about alcohol and smoking? |
There is no alcohol within the gates of Casey’s Place though smoking may take place in a designated area.
How do I make a reservation? |
To make a reservation, please call (972) 932-5156. A $50 non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking for Packages 1 and 2, and a $100 non-refundable deposit is required for Package 3. The balance is due at the beginning of your party and must be paid via cash, check, Zelle, Paypal, or Venmo. Also, we must have a signed waiver on each person attending the party.
What is your cancellation policy? |
The Party may be re-scheduled by providing no less than 72 hours notice to Casey’s Place. If cancellation is not received within 72 hours, payment for the event is due in full. In the event of a weather-related raincheck, the 72-hour notice will be waived.
How can I help Casey's Place |
A portion of the fee from every birthday party goes to help support our camps/programs for the at-risk children of Kaufman County. We also accept donations.
